He is an alum of IIM Bangalore and from running marathons, cycling, trekking to leading multiple projects in the retail chain-Big Bazaar. Early life of Vineet Saraiwala
Vineet was born in Jamshedpur in 1990 to a regular middle-class family. Vineet Saraiwala and his brother both had a genetic vision problem, but with the help of his family and a change in mindset, he was able to go into IIM with outstanding grades. His tag line is “My eyesight is weak, not my vision for myself”.
Vineet Saraiwala and his brother overcame Their problems & Limitations and cracked the Common Admission Test (CAT) exam and graduated from IIM Bangalore. He was aware that he may get entirely blind in the future years and how he would be able to survive?
He joined the Future Group and led the “Big Bazaar” team after getting his IIM degree. He transformed his office into a disabled-friendly environment and welcomed persons with impairments.
He Spent 6 years in the corporate field, with a solid track record, but life is unpredictable. Covid had a devastating impact on everyone, and thousands of individuals, particularly those with disabilities.
Vineet received good guidance from Venkat Krishnan, Mohan Alexander, and Rohan Bhansali. He quit his normal paid job and founded Atypical Advantage (AA), an online platform for people with disabilities searching for full-time or part-time work.
Atypical Advantage as a start-up founded by vineet saraiwala during covid lockdown, believing that serendipity would play a significant role.
Vineet’s strategy of sensitization seminars, testimonials from job hopefuls, and art examples and films of performing artists assisted him in building trust and a basis with corporate management. It required a lot of persuasion and several rounds before permits were granted.

Atypical Advantage, India’s first platform for persons with disabilities, will be launched on December 11th, bringing people together from all around the country. where you can recruit talent, locate employment, and purchase items such as paintings and commissioned artwork.
Their goal is to channelize the skills of disabled individuals across the country and link them with potential employers. They want to empower people with disabilities all throughout the country by recognising their talents.
Photographers, voice-over artists, physiotherapists, graphic designers, models, dancers, singers, painters, sign language interpreters, and others can be hired from a pool of 550+ disabled talent across 20 categories.
Their mission is to democratize jobs and freelancing opportunities in this work-from-home era, which has left people with disabilities behind. Atypical Advantage provides job chances and new platforms for the impaired.
Vineet and his team at Atypical Advantage have employees working for companies like Amazon, Pepperfry, TCS, and HUL. Amazon even employed a 15-year-old girl with a learning handicap to be the face of an Alexa digital commercial.
Atypical Advantage participated in the reality show Shark Tank India Season 2 aired on 11 January 2023.

- They have 500+ talented performing artists listed on their website. For corporate concerts and events.
- They also manage exhibitions and events for the corporate. they provide start to end services only for the 15% to 30% margin.
